Still doesnt work, what gives with its app???

Come on! This used to work, now its just connects and doesnt pass traffic.

I thought betternet sucked

I thought betternet sucked but at least you cant turn it off without deleting the app just glad I used the trial before I wasted money on this

Sfli

Does not work at all. Dont buy. Impossible to cancel. No username recovery option. Bad product.

Agree

Since the update it no longer works. Not as good as it used to be

Not working out side the USA!

This services worked fine while I was in the USA. But, I have been traveling the last six weeks in Indochina and havent been able to us it once? Emailed support without any response yet? Not I have to figure out how to cancel my subscription? They dont make it easy??? I would skip this VPN and look for another...

Not working anymore.

Youve better fix the F******* app.

Where did servers disappear?

ipVanishs website shows that there are >180 servers available. Not true! Every day the number of available servers decreases. Today I opened the VPn and did not find ANY server from Eastern Europe, total number of servers is ~20, half of those from the US

Used to be great, now doesnt work

When I first purchased the subscription in July of 2015, the app and website worked fantastic on both my phone and computer. In the revisions starting in late 2015, the app started stalling the internet everywhere I go. It has become worthless, and the more recent updates havent fixed the problem. I cant speak for any other connection type other than the iOS app as I dont use it on my computer on a regular basis.

Totally quit working

This app used to work really well. Now it doesnt. I hope that gets fixed soon.

Does not work with Netflix

This is the reason for me having VPN and Netflix blocks it. 2 weeks in and IPVanish has not worked this out...

Waste of bytes

Do not make the same mistake as many on iOS. This s product ceased to function last year and on my return to the product still does not function. I will read reviews in future. You should be ashamed for taking money for a product that is f$&ked. The last insult is having to rate a star for this waste of bytes to be able to send this post.

Uselessssssssssssssss

Uselesssssssssss in China! Dont buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not worth it

I used to be able to use this app a lot but recently it would not work at all. I travel outside of the US for work all the time and this would come in handy to allow me to watch all of my videos (Netflix , Amazon prime , etc) but the past couple times it would not work. Just not worth it

Glitches

IPVanish: too glitchy, web sites often dont load the first time, causes apps to glitch sporadically, some servers function better than others. Speedtest app repeatedly glitched while running iPVanish. Slow on iOS cell and wifi, very fast on PC. Has IKEv2, but I dont use it because it was glitchy, so they recommended IPSec. They also recommended I try other servers. It does reconnect automatically. 6 months into one year subscription, but I dont use it anymore. On PC it works well in limited testing. Summary of VPNs: Primarily I tested these VPNs on a slow 4G cell connection and a fast wifi using an iPad Air 2. iOS turns off VPN when devices go to sleep. In my experience it also disconnects the VPN when the Internet connection is unused for some time. For this reason the automatic reconnection feature is important to me. PureVPN: fast, IKEv2 encryption, doesnt reconnect automatically, Hong Kong based. Personally I dont like selecting a mode. I would prefer to simply pick the encryption type and server location. Others may prefer modes. Not a deal breaker, but it would be helpful if they described what each mode actually did e.g. Lets you select city, uses IKEv2 encryption etc. TunnelBear: easy set up, reconnects automatically, 75% slower than PureVPN and YyprVPN. You cant select the server city within the U.S. which might explain the slow speed because it connects me to a server on the East Coast though Im testing on the West Coast. Are all of their servers in New York? Company based in Canada. VyprVPN: fast, easy set up, reconnects automatically, incorporated in Switzerland, app shows the speed of available servers, includes NAT firewall. While it is expensive this is my current favorite. All VPNs slow data speed so testing reflects how much impact they have. IPVanish cell slow--wifi very slow--PC very fast PureVPN cell fast--wifi fast TunnelBear cell slow--wifi slow VyprVPN cell fast--wifi very fast--PC fast

On Beijing, doesnt work

Tried every single city on the list, could not connect. So doesnt work at all.

Bogus

Worked for a while...hasnt worked in months. I want my $ back.

Not working

Travel want secure access to site over public WI and I can no longer get connected. Netflix is blocking access to USA Netflix even though I live in USA when out of country no access to my USA Netflix only country which I am in IPVanish has got caught in Netflix crack down, poor planning. As for secure site access there is another real issue. Come on IPVanish lets fix it before you go out of business

Doesnt connect

Repeated attempts to connect but never able to. Need this updated ASAP.

Despite what others are saying..

I downloaded the app today and its worked fine. Maybe a little slow at times for certain app, web pages etc but I mean it is a vpn for your phone. So 4 stars it is!

Very disappointing

With the backing of Anonymous, I figured this would be a decent product. On the desktop, I cant even tell its on. This app, though, seems to only work for web traffic, so its fairly useless.
